    BW Businessworld reported SRM Technologies’ announcement that Manivannan S had been appointed Chief Executive Officer, taking on additional responsibilities alongside his existing role; the article describes him as “the MD & CEO”.3 SRM Technologies shared the news on LinkedIn, describing his vision as being “to drive holistic growth for SRM Tech by proliferating our strategic capabilities and innovation initiatives.”6

    The announcement identified four priorities:

    • Harnessing the SRM Group’s combined strengths in digital, engineering, manufacturing and education.
    • Supporting the automotive, electric-vehicle and manufacturing industries through advanced solutions and capability building.

    SRM Technologies announced that it had been officially recognised as a “Great Place to Work” by Great Place To Work®. The certification is based on confidential employee feedback and an independent assessment of workplace policies and initiatives.7 The announcement was also carried by Business Today and Business Standard.89

    We are especially proud of achieving this in India, where our largest talent base is located, and we aim to extend this recognition across our global offices in the near future.

    National Workshop on ADAS

    SRM Tech and SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) co-hosted a National Workshop on Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in collaboration with SAE, drawing participation from academic and industry experts nationwide.10

    Entry into the Middle East

    SRM Technologies expanded into the Middle East as SRM Technologies LLC, with a newly established regional office in Dubai. It said it would bring enterprise platforms, cloud infrastructure, platform modernisation and generative AI solutions to the region.4

    Extended partnership with SRMIST

    SRM Technologies and SRMIST announced an extended partnership to strengthen links between academia and industry. It included internships for 15 students from SRMIST’s School of Mechanical Engineering, faculty development programmes in ADAS and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, and SRM Tech’s participation as an industry partner in the ANRF – MAHA EV Mission Project.10

    Launch of the Mobility Practice

    SRM Tech announced the evolution of its long-standing Automotive Embedded Engineering practice into a comprehensive Mobility Practice, extending into software-defined vehicle platforms, connected vehicle ecosystems, digital cockpit systems, automotive electronics, advanced testing and validation, and lifecycle engineering.11

    Our evolution into a broader Mobility Practice reflects both the scale of this transformation and our commitment to investing in the capabilities required to support it.
